A killer feature for e-mail clients

Daniel made an interesting feature request from e-mail service providers (like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail etc.) and e-mail client applications (like Outlook etc).

Here’s a killer feature for anyone involved in the development of an email client: When I click send, search the body of the text for words like “attach”, “attached”, “attachment”. If any of these words are found, and I have not attached a file then popup a message saying “Did you want to attach something to this message?” That would be fantastic.

Now that’s a neat UI feature to be! Apparently, Daniel’s request hasn’t gone unnoticed, and he has received some valuable feedback. There are some plugin’s/add-on’s which provide this same functionality. And moreover advanced users can write/integrate a “GreaseMonkey” script for Firefox or IE.
