I wrote about mobile short films in brief last year. This year, the Nokia Shorts 2006 competition (15 second mobile handset-shot films) has announced the finalists of the Handset category. The shorts are also now screening at the Raindance Film Festival. Preview the Nokia Shorts finalists and vote for your favourite!
For some reason the quality of mobile films at Nokia Shorts this year is not all that great. I really liked some of the past finalists (here’s a mix of my top 5 past films from Nokia Shorts). Well this year I voted for “The Tour of the House“, although in my opinion none of this year’s finalists compare to past finalists.
