Has Google disrupted … ?
Loading ...Here’s some random blogosphere buzz worth pondering. We’ve heard about Google being the “new” Microsoft. Has Google disrupted the businesses of Yahoo and Microsoft? Scoble thinks so! So, what can Microsoft do to disrupt Google? Clone the Google API!
Besides that, EVERY COMPANY is hiring like crazy. Like it’s 1999. Not just Google or Yahoo [Scoble]. The Web 2.0 isn’t a Bubble – Just an Echo Chamber [Kevin Burton].
A trend is emerging from all of this. Microsoft seems to be realizing it. “Microsoft is no longer an applications company. It is a services company.” A lot of exciting stuff seems to be cooking at Redmond. But Google is so far doing better because they have a development model that lets them move very quickly and get stuff out the door faster than Microsoft or Yahoo.
