In a recent article at vnunet Miguel de Icaza announced that the 2.0 version of Mono will include native Win Forms and Visual Basic support. This will allow most .NET applications to run unmodified on Linux. I am not holding my breath, but if it really works then this opens up an entirely new market to .NET developers.
